One gal's consigned skirt is another gal's treasure...

I was so happy to rediscover an upscale consignment store near my work. Consignment stores take some work to weed through the ick to find the prize. Above is my latest prize. J Crew lavender pencil skirt. For $12. I kid you not. I silently yelped and hoped it fit, which it did.

I'm contemplating starting a fashion blog to help inspire me to remix my current wardrobe. I have worn the above J Crew skirt with the white Target ruffle top, Target lavender cardigan and the nude flats.

Update: I Polyvored this look below:

Target--Thank you for being a friend

I am dedicating this post to my blogging friend Andie!

I would typically buy weekend and casual wear from Target. However, they have really stepped up their game this season! Below are some of my most recent purchases. Most are things that can be work or weekend. the style is classic and fun.

Gator Soapbox

Yes I am a Florida Gator fan. I grew up a little more than 1 hour from Gainesville and the Gators have always been a part of my life. I was accepted to UF but ended up going to Rollins instead.

However, while Tim Tebow was a fine enough quarterback, I am so glad he has left UF.

The hype was exhausting. The bandwagon Gator fans were driving me insane. Tim is not the first nor the last great QB to walk into the Swamp. Shane Matthews, Danny Wuerffel, Jesse Palmer, Rex Grossman--all played in the NFL. Unfortunately, Gator QBs don't have the best of luck in the NFL.

The T-Bow shirts. The hero worship. Give the kid a break and let him relax!
